Frosted effect vinyl can be cut down into simple blocks or bands. Bands are generally a standard of 1200 mm high by the width of your glass panel. This will generally be centred onto the glass giving a band of privacy but still allowing vision above and below of the band. This can be in Opal frost effect, crystal effect, silver etched effect or printed patterns. As you will see from our images, the bands can be multiple and different heights. Frosted bands tend to be thinner than blocks and are usually multiple across the glass, patterns can be made from bands at multiple thicknesses and multiple size gaps between the bands. This can create different effects like graduated patterns and blind effects. All of the patterns created from block and bands are bespoke and can be tailored to for your partition glass and windows. Blocks and bands can be combined to make even more pattens which you will see in our images.


DDA DOTS & SQUARES GLASS MANIFESTATION

DDA manifestation are a legal requirement on full height glass petitions, windows, and glass doors. There is a minimum of 50mm required as a shape that can be cut from frosted effect vinyl, this is generally a square or a circle (dot) and cover two heights on the glass petition, child height is 850 mm and adult height is 1400 mm. These heights must be covered to help avoid anyone walking into the full height glass. The gap between the dot or square can vary dependent on client, the dot or square can also be cut from standard coloured vinyl. Please click here to see the diagram for manifestation requirements. As you will see from our images the dots or squares can be multiple and make up patterns. 

PRINTED FROST EFFECT MANIFESTATION LOGOS

Frosted effect vinyl can also be printed onto with colour patterns or logos for corporate branding. When the patterns or logos are printed onto the frost effect vinyl, it still allows light to pass through giving a translucent effect from both sides. With the printed effect there are endless possibilities for patterns logos and even images. Logos can also be added to the frost effect vinyl in coloured cut vinyl for a less translucent effect.

FULL COVER PRIVACY FROSTING

When complete privacy is necessary, frosted effect film can be applied to glass petitioning to give privacy without losing light. The film will still allow to see shapes through but not detail, this is ideal for bathrooms, changing rooms, meeting rooms and sensitive areas. It can also be used to blank out unsightly areas. Full cover privacy frosting can also be used on exterior windows and doors.

The logo is actually cut out from the frosting leaving a clear area that is visible through creating this branded look and letting light pour through.
